Amended Constitution

AMENDED CONSTITUTION AS ADOPTED IN 32ND ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD ON 29,H MAY 2010 AT BELGAUM. PREAMBLE

In the year 1975 senior Physicians of Bangalore who are members of the Association of Physicians of India, felt the need of an organization to conduct scientific activities in the field of medicine in Bangalore and Bangalore Chapter of API was started under the leadership of Dr. K.S. Shadaksharappa and later on redesigned as API, Karnataka Chapter.

PART I: MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION

1. The name of the Association is “The Association of Physicians of India, Karnataka Chapter”.
2. The registered office of the Association shall be situated at Bangalore.
3. The headquarters of the Association shall be at Bangalore.

The Registered office is situated at API Bhavana, #16/F, Millers Tank Bed Area, Vasantha Nagar, Bangalore-560052.
