APICON-85 GUEST LECTURE

After the grand success of APICON85 conducted at Bangalore this guest lecture was started in the year 1990 with the funds saved from the conference.​

DR.K.S.SHADAKSHARAPPA ORATION

This oration was instituted by Dr.K.S.S Appa himself in the year 1990. He recognized eminent physicians of the state and recommended them to deliver the orations in the annual conference. After the demise of Dr. K.S.S.APPA it has been delivered as Dr. K.S.Shadaksharappa Memorial Oration.

DR.SHASHIDHAR MAALAK RADDY ORATION

This oration was instituted in the year 2000 by Dr.A.B.Maalak Raddy, former Medical Education Minister of Karnataka in the name of his late son Dr.Shashidhar Maalak Raddy who himself was a physician who met with an untimely death

Dr. V.G.NADGOUDA API HONOUR LECTURE

Dr.V.G Nadgouda donated Rs.1lakh in the year 2002 in the name of his parents Mr. G.V. Nadgouda. Hence this oration was instituted.

Dr.T.B.BASAVARAJENDRA Memorial Oration

Dr.T. B. BASAVARAJENDRA was a renowned physician and teacher, also served a Chairman of API .After his demise the students and well wishers of Dr. TBB donated a corpus amount to API to start the orations in his name in the year 2008.

Dr. M. MAIYA ORATION LECTURE

Dr. M. Maiya, a renowned physician, teacher, orator, founder member of API . Recognizing his contribution to the society the API executive committee recommended starting an oration in his name from the year 2012
